He was predeceased by: his wife Nina; and his stepsiblings, Geraldin McMann, Phyllis Richmond and Charlie Clarke. He is survived by: his son Brian Clarke (Angela) of Woodlands, Texas; his grandchildren, Morgan and Mitchell; his stepsiblings, Bernice Van Mil of Peterborough, ON and Dulcie Noble of Lethbridge; and his close friend Joanne Geertz.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Scott's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #57.
