He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian; his parents, Martin and Maria; his great grandchild Lucas Johnson; and his great great grandchild William Rosevear.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel (Mary) of Yarmouth, NS, Wayne (Karen) of Vilna and Lyle (Addi) of Antler Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
