He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garbe and Irene Garbe; his siblings, Kenneth, Doreen, Stanley and Melvin; his stepson Randy Garbe; and his former wife Terry Porter.
He is survived by: his son Norman Garbe (Brenda) of Edmonton; and his stepson Rick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
