She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Swanson and Clara Swanson (Backen) of Sedgewick; her siblings, Harold (Pat), Gladys Christenson (Tormod), Clarence, Norma Hogstead (Alfred) and Ralph (Louise); and her grandson William.
She is survived by: her husband Emil Thompson; her daughters, Leona Frederick (Garry) and Catherine Metcalf (Randy); her grandchildren, Amanda Brack (Jared), Karissa Costa (Quinn), Ty (Kate), Kindred, Angel, Nick, Jade, Leslie, Kourtney and Ila; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Swanson and Lehman Thompson (Marlene). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
