He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Catherine; and his brothers, Verner and Clifford. He is survived by: his wife Emma; and his children, Valerie, Vaughn, Richard, Roderick and David. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
