She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Walley and Philip Pedley Walley; her husband Lynn Bennett; her siblings, Peter, Steven Walley, Rhoda Arden and Alice Wallworth; and her niece Vicki Park.
She is survived by: her siblings, Edward Walley (Barbara), Nancy Gee (Christopher) and Angela Morrell; her children, Elizabeth (Kurt Bagdan) of Camrose and John Bennett (Shirley) of Biggar, Saskatchewan; her grandchildren, David Bagdan (Lisa), Corinne (Bagdan), Andrew Bennett (Shannon) and Hildy Bennett (Karel Stroebel); and her great grandchildren, Zephrym, Korbin Davis, Phineas Bagdan, Samaire (Sami), Severen, Emmerson Bennett (Emmy), Johnny and Rosa Stroebel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion's memory to the David Lynn Bennett Memorial Award - endowment principal (this in the memo line) with cheques made payable to the University of Alberta (C/O Augustana Campus Attn: Bree Urkow 4901 46 Ave, Camrose, AB T4V 2R3).
