She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel; and her daughter Paula Bahadoor. She is survived by: her children, Louis and Teresa Ferreira (Jorge); her grandchildren, Aaron Ferreira and Nicole Pasychnyk (John); her great grandchildren, Mikhail and Ana; and her sister Margarida Tavares.
