He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his son Steven; his parent Aleck; his siblings, Lorna and Foster; and his sister-in-law Della.

He is survived by: his children, Lorna Pearson-Hoofd (Ron) of Drayton Valley and Rob (Connie) of Enderby, BC; his grandchildren, Jessica Pearson (Chelsea) of Brad Pearson, PJ, Marissa Paulson (Houston) and Cassidy Hoofd (Joe Macumber); and his great grandchildren, Maya Macumber and Isaac Paulson.
