He was predeceased by: his parents, John Klug and Julia Klug; his sister Irene Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Case and Edward "Sam" Jones.

He is survived by: his nieces, Diane Klug, Shelley Moch (Doug) and Linda Feindel (Terry); and his great-nieces, Kelsey Moch, Madison and Taylor Feindel.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in John's memory may be made to Alzheimer Society of Alberta, or to the Bethany Group.
