With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jens Christian Jensen of Camrose, Alberta, who passed away on August 22, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jens Christian Jensen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mavis; his parents, Semine Jensen (Minna) and Christian Jensen (Chris); his brother Andreas; and his wife Ingrid.
He is survived by: his sons, Dan (Helga), Gordon (Brenda), Grant (Kathleen) and Alan; his grandchildren, Aaron, Jason (Dezy), Jonathan (Anna Clara), Graham (Jannaya), Lesley (Tony Diep), Robyn and Eric (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Solveig Lilja, Sylvan and Maren; and his siblings, Anna, Ken, George and Elisabeth. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The Family requests, out of consideration for those who are immuno-compromised or ineligible to get covid vaccines at this time, that all who attend the memorial service would wear masks inside the church and practice physical distancing, insofar as possible.
Donations to commemorate Jens' life can be made to the Habitat for Humanity, the Canadian Lutheran World Relief, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
