He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph Durand and Anna Olesa Durand; and his siblings, Danny, Gene, Louise and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his children, Angie, Mike (Milena), Jamie Franklin (Klayton) and Brittany Ross (Matt); his sisters, Irene Oberholtzer (Bruce), Connie Bech (Soren), Margy Dahl, Gerry Reddemann (Irvin), Denise Blatz (Rodney), Laurie Odegard (David) and Marie Lewin; his sister-in-law Karen; his brothers, Lee (Linda), Donald (Judy), Ken (Connie), Tony (Laurie), Brian and Kip (Mary); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Joshua and KJ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended relatives.

Due to Covid-19, a private family service will be held at a later date.
