She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Berke; her parents, Olause Fjalestad and Signe Fjalestad; and her siblings, Eldrid Emerson, Gundbjorg Meyer and Torof Fjalestad.
She is survived by: her sons, Elmer Berke of Edmonton, Ralph Berke (Cheryl) of Spruce Grove and Lorne Berke of Edmonton. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
