He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; and his parents, Warren Ellert and Dorthea Ellert. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Ellert (Herb Smith) of Cochrane, Teri Ellert of Edmonton and Jean Ockerman (Brent) of Elk Point; and his siblings, Linda Racz (Jim) of Milk River and Dean Ellert (Diane) of Lethbridge.
