He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene; his daughter-in-law Marcy; his brothers, Bill (Rena), Ralph (Lois) and Lawrence; and his brother-in-law Fred Herder.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Scott of Camrose, Jacalyn Brausen of Camrose, Dennis (Laura) of Camrose and Cathy Stacey (Albert) of Camrose.
