He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Shopland; and his siblings, Lillian and John. He is survived by: his son Curtis Shopland (Sharon Thomson) of Camrose; and his siblings, Charlie Shopland (Thelma) of Minook, Blanche Shopland of Edmonton, Henry Shopland of Westlock and Dorothy Shopland of Strathcona County.
