She was predeceased by: her husband Oliveier; her son Fernand Hamel; her grandchildren, Michael Bellefeuille and Debbie Michetti; and her great grandchild Jaime Lynn.

She is survived by: her children, Norbert Hamel (Maybel DeLa Cruz) of Penhold and Laurence "Laurie" Bellefeuille of Camrose; and her grandchildren, Charlene Wingert (Jason) of Langdon, Jesse Hamel of Edmonton and Philip Hamel of Saskatoon. She is also survived by six brothers; and five sisters.
