She was predeceased by: her daughter Cathy; and her brother Donny Mohler. She is survived by: her husband Carl Gotaas; and her children, Diane Gotaas of Fort Saskatchewan, Sharon Szott (Marshall) of Camrose, Jim Gotaas (Liane) of Breton, Steven Gotaas (Kim) of Sherwood Park and Brent Gotaas (Phamie) of Camrose. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
