He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Josephine; and his siblings, Roseann Lee (John), Marcella Homan and Stanley Maschke (Doreen).

He is survived by: his siblings, Francis Maschke (Marianne Najaowich) of Forestburg and Laurence Maschke (Lorraine) of Heisler. He is also survived by eight nieces; and four nephews.

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Edward's memory may be made to Alberta Alzheimer's Society.
