She was predeceased by: her husband Ken Gerber; her daughter Betty McKay; her granddaughter Jennifer McKay; and her siblings, Jean Albers, Jim, Ken and Mac.
She is survived by: her children, Carrol Burkard (Leon), Larry Gerber (Helen Sather), Roger Gerber, Bill Gerber (Carla) and Marlene Bergquist (Lawrence); and her son-in-law Curtis McKay (Cindy). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Due to allergies in the family, the family has requested absolutely no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Edith's memory may be made to Century Meadows Baptist Church (https://centurymeadows.ca), Battle River Lending Place, or a charity of ones choice.
