He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Ellen; his children, Candace Ames of Camrose, Lindy Kontek-Thirsk of Camrose and Nikki Kontek-Thirsk of Camrose; his siblings, Rod of Edmonton, Bev Thirsk of Camrose, Ray of Camrose, Wayne of Camrose and Murray (Dawn) of Camrose; his father James; his brothers, James and Leo; and his sister-in-law Shirley Feist.
