He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Mavis; his brother-in-law Ed Gerrits; and his son-in-law Val Blake. He is survived by: his children, Patrick and Allison Blake (David Hefford); his grandchildren, Keely, Bailey, Austin and Shyah; his great grandchildren, Ryder and Kai; and his sister Eileen Gerrits. He is also survived by numerous relatives, family and friends.

Due to the pandemic restrictions a private family memorial service will take place.
