He was predeceased by: his brother Dennis Beckley; his brother-in-law Doug Brown; his parents, William Beckley and Margaret Ryzewski; and his stepfather William Ryzewski.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kim Chantigny of Victoria, BC, Terri Beckley (Ken Jones) of Shawnigan Lake, BC and Ed Beckley of Maple Ridge, BC; and his siblings, Douglas Beckley (Paulette) of Victoria, BC and Marleen Brown of Calgary.
