He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hocker and Agnes Hocker; his former wife Bunny; his stepdaughter Sherry Michaud; his brother Norman Hocker; and his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Hocker and Clifford Firlotte.

He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Michael (Maria) of Camrose, Cheryl Hocker (Ted Thomas) of Fort McMurray and Kevin (Rochelle) of Sherwood Park; his stepsons, Kent Lockett (Susan) of Blackfalds and Neil Lockett of Camrose; his nieces, Bunny Doyle and Nicole Firlotte; his nephew Ken Hocker; and his sister-in-law Rose Firlotte.
