He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Froese and Anna Froese; his siblings, Jacob, Henry, Helen, Betty and Anne; and his grandson Evan Froese.

He is survived by: his wife Hertha Froese of Camrose; his children, Deborah Wudwud (Alex) of Cayley and David Froese (Tammy) of Ardrossan; his sister Kaye Buechert (Herman) of Roanoke, Virginia; his sister-in-law Jeanne Froese of Calgary; his grandchildren, Robert Wudwud, Daniel Wudwud (Brittany), Hannah Froese, Alexa Froese, Sienna Froese and Luca Froese; and also David Eriksson of Camrose.
