She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; and her parents, Alex Hildreth and Eileen Hildreth. She is survived by: her children, Dale Kandt (Jane Hansen) of Hughenden, Dean Kandt (Shelley Rosland) of Camrose and Cindy Ekdahl (Ralph Jonker) of Edmonton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the Alzeimer Society of Alberta.
