She was predeceased by: her parents, Narcisse Makinaw and Sophie Makinaw; her son Kelly Makinaw; her sisters, Ida Dodginghorse (Richard), Noreen Makinaw, Clara Deschamps, Agnes Ermineskin, Jean Saddleback, Lorna and Beryl Makinaw; her sister-in-law Sylvia Arnold; her brothers, Mike and Kenneth Makinaw; and her brother-in-law Merv Arnold.
She is survived by: her husband Dave Arnold; her daughter Melanie Makinaw; her grandchildren, Tyler Ermineskin (Tennille), Kellie Heder (Mohamed) and Dakota Makinaw; her son Shane Makinaw (Angela); her grandchildren, Madison, Shane Jr., Bam and Piper; her stepdaughter Dianne Crane; her children, Xyomara, Raven (David), Dakota and Sheila Acosta (Jose); her grandchildren, Carolann (Glyn), Jose (Kyra) and Alex; her stepson James Crane; her sisters, Rose (Cecil) and Clarisse Makinaw; her sister-in-law Lorraine Arnold; her brothers, Craig Makinaw (Delorna) and Danny Makinaw; and her brother-in-law Bill Arnold. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, relatives and adopted family and friends.
