He was predeceased by: his son Douglas; his brother Wilfred (Laurie); and his parents, Paul and Bertha. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; and his children, Perry (Marcia), Randy (Crystal), Brian (Shauna) and Kimberly. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations in Robert's memory can be made to the Grace Lutheran Gnadenthal Church.
