He was predeceased by: his wife Angeline; his parents, John and Caroline; and his siblings, Wasylia and Darvyn.

He is survived by: his children, Barbara, Barry (Darlene) and Bradley (Jody); and his sister Lavinia (Bryon). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
