He was predeceased by: his parents, William Besse and Evelyn Besse; his sister Susan Jennifer; and his father-in-law Pat Gilmore. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Cathy) Besse; his children, Jennifer (Scott) of Okotoks and Chantel of Calgary; his grandson Elliott; his brothers, Alan (Joy) of Edmonton and Richard (Toni) of Australia; his siblings-in-law, Everett Gilmore (Sharon), Ray Gilmore (Karen) and Wink Phillips (Al); and his mother-in-law Connie Gilmore. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephew and great nieces & nephews.
