William Chanski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Chanski (Calgary, Alberta), born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pelep-Chanski and Josephine Pelep-Chanski; and his brothers, Edward, Metro, Peter and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Debra Ray, William (Cheryl), Larry, Gene (Karen) and Peter; his sisters, Jean Bishop of Bridge Lake, BC. and Helen Riendeau of Selkirk, MB; and his friends, Den Kay of Kamloops, BC and Dan Solonynko of Oakville, ON.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
