He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Clark" Brown and Jessie "Irene" Brown (Macdonald); his siblings, Karen Brown and Vaughan Brown; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Brown and Sue Cain; and also, Victor and Marie Cain (Leifso).

He is survived by: his wife Beth (Cain); his children, Jesse of Toronto and Jodi Price (Andy) of Tara; his siblings, Dale Brown of Mildmay, Cheryl Brown of Waterloo and Jane Brown-Copeland (Rob) of Guelph; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Duquette (Wayne), Frank Cain, Shirley Braun (Rob) and Rob Cain (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Chesley Legion would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
