She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pledge and Marjorie Pledge; and her siblings, Mary Rooney and Bill Pledge (William). She is survived by: her husband William Bodnarchuk; her son Timothy Bodnarchuk; and her sisters, Fay Cook and Kathy Giesbrecht. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Calgary would be appreciated. Virginia enjoyed reading and Alzheimer's disease stole that ability away from her.
