It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola May Brayley (Calgary, Alberta), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, May Bishop and Harry Bishop (Bye); her husband Harold; her son Kerry; her brothers, John and Harry; and her son-in-law Jack Waite.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Sommerfeld (late Fritz) and Valerie Brayley (Barry Miller); her grandchildren, Victoria Kuntz (Monty), David Sommerfeld (Barb Debolt), Barb Sommerfeld, John Waite (Linnie), Jason Waite (Angela) and Jacqueline Ferguson (George); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Cadence, Avery, Ewing, Skye and Alex; and her sister Elsie Ramage. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
