He is survived by: his wife Fern Johnston of Calgary; his children, Kristin Johnston (Toni Hersey) of Calgary, Ryan Johnston (Leslie) of Calgary, Kelly Barraclough (Miklós) of Calgary and Evan Hearn of Calgary; his grandchildren, Maddux, Link, Màtyàs and Lukàcs; and his siblings, Debbie, Kim and Harold. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and brother and sister in-laws.
