He was predeceased by: his parents, Eelke DeRoos and Antje DeRoos (Lindeboom). He is survived by: his wife Sherry (Vriend); and his daughters, Gertrude Wenz (Richard), Joanne Bouwman (Gary) and Bernice Schleppe (Daniel). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four sisters.
