Sterling Gerald Anthony Obituary
Sterling Gerald Anthony, the beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara Anthony of Calgary, passed away at the Southwood Hospice on February 4, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Besides his loving wife of forty-eight years, Sterling will be lovingly remembered by his children, Barry, Darren, Tina (Tom), Tammy, Charmaine (Stuart) Thurlow, Tracylynn, Tyler and Brendalee (Allan) Mihalicz. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Cody (Krista), Faith, Brody, Justin, Keegan, Brittany, Chaston, Brayden and Bryce and by his four brothers and four sisters. Sterling was predeceased by his parents and one brother. Sterling was born in Pilley’s Island, Newfoundland in 1944. He moved with his family to Calgary in 1979. Sterling was employed by Prudential Steel for thirty years until his retirement.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Berkshire Citadel Community Church (222 Sandarac Drive N.W.) on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
