She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Halwa (Maruszeczka) and Stanley Halwa; her husband Ron; and her daughter Corae. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Maurice, Irene, Sigmund, Eugene and Ted; her children, Sharole and Gary (Sharon); her grandchildren, Melissa, Mitchael (Caitlin) and Jacky; and her sisters, Irene and Mary.
