She is survived by: her husband Dinker; her children, Uma Thakor, Vinay Thakore (Roma Thakore) and Shailaja Thakore; her grandchildren, Ujal Thakor (Sabina Shah), Pooja Thakore (Shyam Anand), Urvil Thakor (Georgia Johnson) and Prarthna Thakore (Matt Pearce); and her great grandchildren, Arjun and Kiaan Anand.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
