He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Shirley; his parents, Harvey Barge and Vernie Barge; his children, Ken (Sherry), Angie, Brenda and Cindy (Jason); his grandchildren, Micheal (Jennifer), Trista (Christopher), Darcy (Renee), Garett (Holly), Kyle (Maddie), Emma, Caitlin, Tegan and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Jackson, Oliver, Henry, Brynley and Rhett.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Centre Street Church - Central Campus (3900 2 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E7E3).
