“One of the greatest humans I ever met. My boss, my friend, and my mentor. I’m so very proud to call Roger “dad” and Sandy “mom” for more than twenty years. I’ll never forget “interviewing” with Roger in 1995. After a beer lunch and 15 minutes notice I went to meet with Roger. We started chatting in his office at Archean and thirty minutes later, we were gut laughing out loud. Still waiting for the interview to start, Roger said “Can you start Monday”? I said “sure – sounds like fun”.”

“Not having discussed the job or pay rate I didn’t know what to charge at the end of the month so I just kept working until he came into my office one day and said “I guess you’re wondering what I’m gonna pay ya? Just bill me what you think is appropriate and I’ll tell you if its too much”. He never questioned an invoice in all the years I worked for him but he still made me gut laugh. RIP my friend. “Sandy, I always enjoyed chatting and golfing with Roger and yourself. I was very sad to hear of Roger's passing. I will always remember him getting me out to Canyon Meadows for a golf game.
