He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Luten (Chesla) and Donald Luten; and his brother Douglas Luten. He is survived by: his sister Kathy LeBlanc (Eric); his niece Cecilia van Breda (Adam); his nephew Roger LeBlanc (Samantha); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Layla van Breda and Sura van Breda.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Calgary Humane Society in Rick's memory.
