She is survived by: her spouse Kumar Narain of Lethbridge; her children, Ahilya Ganesh (late Jaikarran Ganesh), Dr. Kishan Narine (Astrid) and Sina Umadat (Indrajit Umadat); her grandchildren, Seema Ganesh, Dr. Vishal Ganesh (Jessica Ganesh), Dr. Nirvani Umadat (Kevin Vong), Dr. Vivake Umadat, Seema Narine, Kirti Narine, Nand Narine and Sid Narine; and her great grandchildren, Ellitsa, Jai and Alex. She is also survived by sisters, her nieces, her nephews.
