She was predeceased by: her husband Arun; her parents, Om Prakash and Gargi Nayar; and her in-laws, Devinder and Krishena Sood.
She is survived by: her daughter Preeti Sood; and her siblings, Aruna Anand (Surender), Narinder Nayar (Anita), Nirmal Anand (Virender), Shashi Pallan (Mukesh), Veena Nayar and Geeta Kapoor (Ashok). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Country Hills Crematorium & Funeral Services (11995 16 St NE, Calgary, AB T3K 0S9).
