Pietro Zappa Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pietro Zappa (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelina Zappa and Vittorio Zappa; his sister Mariagatta Zappa; his sister-in-law Maria Zappa; his parents-in-law, Bruno and Maddalena Barbuto; his godson Claudio Sacco; his great-niece Renee Cussigh; his brothers-in-law, Aldo Barbuto and Vincenzo Sacco; and his uncles, Frank Novello and Mario Novello.
He is survived by: his wife Dorina; his children, Vittorio (Franca), Sandra (Ken) and Adriana; his grandchildren, Nicholas Zappa (Ashley) and Angela Sample (Scott); his siblings, Franca Fontana (Angelo), Angela Vito (Pasquale), Giuseppe Zappa (Pino) and Vittoria Pellegrino (Salvatore); and his sisters-in-law, Maria Sacco and Frances Casello (Tony). He is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
