We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2024, at the age of 66, Peter Vissing Nielsen in Calgary, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ole Nielsen and Elna Nielsen. He is survived by: his siblings, Sven (Kathy), Linda and Karen (Gord); his nieces and nephews, Jake, Cole, Joshua, Emily and Alyssa; his stepchildren, Tashana, Daisy and Nathan; and his stepgrandchildren, Kayla, Bonita, Rawson, Lena and Savana.
Later, Peter's career in quality control engineering saw him make significant contributions to renowned companies such as Nortel, where he was pivotal in the cell phone switching division, and Ericsson, further cementing his reputation in the industry.
