She was predeceased by: her son Tobias Schmaltz; and her granddaughter Briella Gonsalves. She is survived by: her husband Terry; her children, TJ Schmaltz (Sanam Bakhtiar) of Vancouver and Heidi Schmaltz (Rock Gonsalves) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Tobiyah Gonsalves, Isaiah Gonsalves and Benjamin Schmaltz; and her sister Carole Furness of Seattle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
