Nancy (Shantz) Wikant Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy (Shantz) Wikant (Calgary, Alberta), who passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Nancy has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She is survived by: her husband Duane; her daughter Laura (Dough Dirks); her grandchildren, Ian and Race Dirks; her son Brian (Mari-Lynn); her grandsons, Sean, Kevin and Neil; her siblings, Suzanne Nuttall and Malcolm; and her sister-in-law Anne Shantz. She is also survived by her niece and nephews.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made in Nancy's name to Calgary's Heritage Park or to the charity of one's choosing.
