He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Urbshott and Doris Urbshott; his former wife Dixie; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Urbshott, Judy Storoschuk and John Storoschuk; his nephew Ryan Kiehlbauch; and his niece Treasure.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Cook (Sheldon) and Dean Urbshott (Emily); his stepson Jeff Tataryn (Gina); his grandchildren, Jenna Cook, Mark Cook (Emilyn), Owen Urbshott, Erica Urbshott, Sara Tataryn, Amy Tataryn and Zoe Tataryn; his great grandchildren, Gwen Cowan, Chase Cowan, Deccan Cowan and Alex Stainer; his brothers, Paul Urbshott and Dennis Urbshott; his brother-in-law Burgie Kiehlbauch (Sheryl); and also Sylvia.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Chapel) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7). A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (Prairie View Lounge) (1605 100 St SE, Calgary, AB T2P2G7).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Agape Hospice 1302 8 Ave NW Calgary, AB T2N 1B8 in memory of Murray Urbshott to assist others in their journey "home".
