She was predeceased by: her parents, Simpson Fraser and Clara Fraser; her husband Don Mawer; her son Bill Mawer; and her siblings, Sheila, Jean and Hector.

She is survived by: her daughter Margret Mawer; her grandchildren, Kylie, Logan and Cassia (Joe); her great grandchildren, Madison, Carmen and Wyatt; and her sister Hughene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fish Creek Hospitality Centre (14441 Bannister Rd SE, Calgary, AB T2X3J3).
