He is survived by: his wife Beverley; his children, Matthew and Vanessa; his parents, Cathy and Marvin; and his siblings, Ann Marie, Tracey (Peter) and Greg (Yvonne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Evan J Strong Funeral Services South (5502 2 St SW, Calgary, AB T2H0G9). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (10 Prestwick Dr SE, Calgary, AB T2Z4J6).
